Employers always have three things in their mind while recruiting. Firstly, does this person have the right skills? Secondly is the person motivated? Thirdly will he fit in to our work culture? The mother-daughter duo designed this personality test to help women during the WWII era choose suitable jobs. This personality test assesses the decision making traits of individuals. In the test, the candidate chooses one possible answer out of a pair of choices to a question.
  • SHL OPQ32r: This personality test is used to measure the personality traits that have an influence over performance. This method is essential as it offers crucial insight into the candidate’s personality, which cannot be determined by any other process. This test measures 32 different personality traits which are classified into groups such as thinking style, relationships, empathy, influence and sociability. All these factors help determining if the candidate fits into a particular job environment. The OPQ32r is conducted online and it is a very simple test which takes around 30 minutes for an average person to finish. This test also offers a wide variety of reports with precise summaries and graphical representations.

Why is everybody using Personality Test?

Businesses like to use personality test for two main reasons. Firstly they want an efficient method of filtering candidates without having to spend much. Secondly they want to integrate their recruitment process in such a way that they can defend themselves against any legal confrontation. Also these personality tests can be easily carried out online.   1. We have also had success with Inscape’s DiSC profile assessment for increasing employee engagement and team building. Unlike MBTI, DiSC assessment reveals workplace-specific behavioral styles, so these are more relevant to business organizations. We are ambivalent about how to apply personality testing to hiring however — should organizations strive to have a common personality style, or aim for diversity?
